Info

A stack of numbered tee shirts await their proper day on the back of Kate McGroarty, the first live-in resident of Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry. The 24 year-old Chicago theater artist won the "Month at the Museum" contest to live at the institution for thirty consecutive days. Her arrangements includes a furnished "cube" on display to museum patrons (with a private dorm-style quarters as well). She'll keep followers updated on her exploits on Twitter and Facebook, which have included a sleepover in the museum's U-505 Submarine and creepy tour of the darkened home of 35,000 artifacts. The 30 day residency also comes with $10,000 pay.
