Father Tom Moran leads parishioners in mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Chicago's industrial Southeast side. The church is the oldest Mexican parish in Chicago, founded in 1923 by immigrants who worked at nearby steel mills with the current church dedicated in 1928. The neighborhood institution is also home to the National Shrine of St. Jude, the patron saint of hopeless causes.
