Guitarists grace the open-house crowd gathered in the gym of the newly-inaugurated Quinn Community Center in Maywood. The project to revitalize the building was undertaken by Pastor Carmelo Mendez, naming the center for former St. Eulalia Pastor William Quinn. Quinn made a lasting history for himself as a pioneer for social justice, both in the fields of civil rights, along with those of immigrants in the U.S. He died in 2004.
