Info

Youth group members from St. Aloysius and surrounding parishes assemble a custom-made cross that will represent the Chicago Archdiocese when they attend World Youth Day (WYD) in Madrid, Spain. Using wood salvaged from the pews of a nearby parish, the cross is modeled after the "Pilgrimage Cross" offered to Catholic youth by Pope John Paul II, who began WYD in 1985.
