Chicago resident Ed Motto, 54 , is training on Chicago's lakefront for the upcoming Ford IronMan World Championship tri-athalon on October 9th in Hawaii. Motto swore that he'd never compete in such a grueling challenge of endurance again after finishing his first IronMan in 2008 in British Columbia. He finished the 2.4 mile swim followed by 112 miles of biking and then running a full 26.2 mile marathon in 12 hours. Then he did it again in 2009.
